Getting Life Right!

Things I have been happy/grateful for this week: Not spending money or too much money. Taking our Christmas Tree down..I know it's the end of Jan. :) Seeing the movie Grumpy Old Men again. Super Bowl hype. Church eBay Finding out the vase I found in the trash (bulk pick up) is a Sgrafo worth about $100.00. Coats. Chocolate covered pretzels. Finding ways to shift more of my time and energy towards family,friends and relationships and less towards work and isolating activities.

Warm sweatshirts with the fleece on the inside. Great recipes. Homemade pancakes. Managing to get the dog out last night-it's just been too cold the last few nights. The Flipboard App. Starting a new book Aging Our Way Lesson for Living from 85 and Beyond . It's very interesting. Routines. Piano music. Woodworking crafts. Things I have been happy/grateful for this week: Having steps at work to walk up and down. It's time to get rid of this winter weight. Well winter weight is what I'm going with anyway. ;) Snow Shovels and fast melting snow. Duffle bags. Weekend Get Aways. Birthday Celebrations. A nice dinner out with my daughter. Spending time with my husband this weekend. Seeing the movie Freedomland. Getting a great pair of work pants for $10.00 Learning about Qigong Signing up for a Qigong exercise class. Espresso. Coffee Makers. Meat Thermometers. Seeing Deer at night under the moonlight. Phone conversations with friends.

Things I have been happy/grateful for this week: Architecture. Victorian Era Houses. Letters/Cards that come in the mailbox. Hooks by the door. Hearing the heat coming on at night when your getting cold. Swiss Gruyere. Cooks Magazine. People who let you go ahead of them when you only have a few items to purchase.

Finally buying some printer ink. Spending time with my Grandson and Daughter. Learning new things about people. Funding being restored to State and Federal assistance programs. Industrial machines that dispense hot water. Bringing lunch to work everyday for a full week. Busy bones and dog leashes. Seeing the movie Serious Moonlight with Meg Ryan and Timothy Hutton.
